Life as a Two-Headed Beast: Bipolar
Adobe Illustrator, Pen Tool & Gradients

This was a piece done for the international art competition, ArtPrize, in Grand Rapids, MI.

The purpose of this was to spread awareness about Bipolar Disorder and other mental illnesses, as well as to combat societal stigmas concerning people with mental illnesses.

Thank you :icondomism: for suggesting this artwork for a DD! And thank you to everyone who's favorited and commented on this and my other artwork. It warms my heart to know that this artwork has affected others, and that we're starting dialogue on mental illness.

I just want to express my gratitude, as well as how hopeful this makes me. One of the biggest hurdles anyone with mental illness will face is those around them. If you take anything from this piece, just let it be that we are human- all we want is the same respect and caring shared with everyone else.
